Hello everyone!
Ally and I figured we'd both actually take the time whilst our little cricket is sleeping to add some pictures up with family. Apologies in advance to those of you who may get a little upset at seeing these and not being able to be here. If it makes you feel any better, Anna has no idea who anybody is except for Mama [giver of food, changer of nappies] and Daddy [giver of baths, reader of stories].
She is sleeping to a pretty decent routine at this stage. She normally gets put down around 5/6 in an evening. Up at 8/9 which is her feed and bath time. Up again at 11/12 then sleeping through til 4/5. Most alert in mid-mornings [foolishly the same time as I am typing!] and loves being bathed and sung to. Dislikes anything coming between her and food and dogs barking.
Ally is coping well and is getting the hang of resting/sleeping when she needs to/when Anna is napping. I try and help where I can, but when her awake time is so limited I feel pretty redundant.
That being said, I did bottle feed her this morning. She had a perplexed look on her face throughout, but enjoyed the milk nonetheless!
Mama's highlight so far: "Looking at her milk-drunk face with her big gurgly smile."
Daddy's highlight so far: "Bathtime. She's so tremendously awake but relaxed at the same time. Happy time for both of us."
Despite being poo-ed and wee-ed on in one sitting. Secretly I was impressed...
Anyway. This is my rambling pretty much over. Ally will no doubt post later today as well.
