cousin love

The Tripneys and the Shaws met up for a little playdate a few weeks ago and we got some really lovely photos. The uncles really seem to adore their little niece and nephew, and while little Elijah was indoors having a nap with his Mummy, Anna rocked the ball games outdoors with her uncles. Every now and then they would need to stop play so that they could comply with Anna's demands for "bubble! bubble!"

mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers and aunt's day

On May 10th we celebrated Mother's Day with a happy and alert baby girl (last year it was a little underwhelming because Anna slept and slept and slept). Brunch was at efana, a Turkish restaurant in Balmain, and then we went to Thornton Park like we used to when we were children. And then home for a BBQ thanks to the men, Luke and Arthur.

The day before we had gone to Sam's house to celebrate Mark's birthday and give some flowers to Nanna Sam and Tita Cathy.
