video updates...

Hi everyone,

Hope this post finds you well. I haven't posted personally in a little while so I figured instead of typing you up to date on what's been going on I'll put a couple of videos up because that way you can all melt with the cuteness just as much as we do...

That's all for now.

midwife reunion

I was lucky enough to get a caseload midwife while I was pregnant, which meant that one midwife saw me for all of my appointments throughout the pregnancy (rather than spending hours upon hours in waiting rooms at the GP or at the clinic). My midwife's name was Elizabeth and today we went to a caseload reunion and she saw Anna for the first time in 4 months.

This lady was really something special and she really adored our little blonde baby. So we got Anna all dressed up and went to the party :)

happy birthday Anna (no, not that one)

It was Nonna Anna's birthday on the 26th of July, however, it was also important for our little Anna because it was Saint Anna's day.

To celebrate we took lots of photos of Anna and Anna.

Just sayin'.

big head

Hi everyone,

Sorry that it's been a while since we've posted much. I've started back at work so there's probably close to a month's backlog of photos and videos to put on here.

Anna was 4 months old yesterday so as always we took her height, weight and head circumference measurements. Since day one, her height and weight have been spot on the 50th percentile and this still hasn't changed.

However...

Her head circumference is 43cm. Which puts her at the 97th percentile. Ally is thankful that her head wasn't at the 97th percentile when she was born. But to be fair to our little one, genetics were never going to be on her side with this one. 58cm for Mum, 60cm for Dad. Just makes her look like a bit of a bobblehead sometimes. Fortunately her neck strength has always been good too!
To give you a bit of a comparison... spot the big-headed baby!
This is (cranky) Anna, in a photo with four other babies produced from the mothers at our antenatal class. They're lying down oldest to youngest left to right, but there's only 4 weeks in total between them. Anna's head could eat their heads. Easily. Like a snake. But a head.

She possesses her father's patience for people who can't hold conversation. Unfortunately, her prejudice extends to little people who are physically unable to talk. She was polite enough for a while by all accounts... But clearly didn't enjoy having to share the camera lens either.
She also now has a boyfriend. Little minx.

Not saying that's all for now. Because there's more to come.

With love. As always.
