baby clothes and stuff

So...I've gotten into a bit of trouble for not posting with the same level of commitment as my darling wife, and as a result have to talk about a multitude of different things within the one post. Please bear with me...

Pictured above is the beautiful pram blanket that Nonna crocheted. Ally and I chose the colours [I'm sure it's been spoken of before] and we both think it's turned out quite nicely. Simple, neutral-ish colours. I'm happy for a little boy to have a bit of pink around. Doesn't do them any harm...

This, on the other hand, is Ally's actual proper current pride and joy. As road-tested with a toddler before, our Valco Snap 4 complete with light grey "Foot Muff" [yes, that's actually what it's called] is our easy-folding, smooth-moving piece of kit. I don't quite love it as much as our car, but it's running a close second.

Then came the washing...

And more washing...

 And more washing...

And more washing still...

A friend of mine who saw a picture of this commented about how many "blue-heavy" items of clothing we have.

I beg to differ.

I'd argue that we have a minute number of "garish pink/baby pink/barbie pink/hot pink/salmon/peach/candy-floss pink/daddy-i'm-a-girl-so-all-I-want-to-wear-is-pink pink" clothes. It's not because we don't like pink clothes. It's just that the range is so sick-inducing that it burns the back of my throat to even consider walking down the "pink aisle", let alone purchasing any.

I've also been told to include that I'm extremely lucky that I have a wife that likes blue.

Best be off. Ally is fitting with happiness over the small-ness of cot sheets. This is my life...

That's all for now.

With love, as always,

Luke xx
